About & History
Located in the scenic Tanque Verde Valley of Tucson, our family-owned venue is surrounded by a rich history. Tanque Verde, meaning “green tank” in Spanish, was named for the algae-filled watering holes that sustained early settlers and ranchers in the 1800s. Once home to Native American communities and later a hub for ranching families, this area has grown into a vibrant community known for its natural beauty and Old West charm. Today, Tanque Verde is celebrated for its preserved landscapes, vibrant community, and rich heritage—a place where the legacy of the Old West meets the charm of modern Tucson.
